I'd like to be in better shape; I used to dance a lot — my mom is actually a belly dancer — so I used to be more muscular. I danced for a long time, from when I was six until I was about 17. We did a lot of improve, group dances, that sort of thing, so it was a really positive community. There were lots of different shapes and sizes — not everyone was thin. I did idealize certain dancers who were really toned and had a lot of muscle shape in their back, arms, abs, that sort of thing, so yeah I wanted to look like that. ⠀⠀

I usually feel comfortable in my own skin, but I know I want to work out more. When I'm working out I just feel better, I feel stronger, and it's easier to play with my kids — my four and six year old still want me to carry them both at the same time.
